Deleting your account
You can do this yourself, from inside the app, without asking us.

How to delete your account
Open the Vromp app, go to Settings, and choose Delete account. You’ll be asked to confirm, and you’ll be signed out once it’s done. You don’t need to contact us first.
If you can’t reach that screen for any reason, email hi@vromp.app from the address on your account and we’ll do it for you.
What deleting removes
Deleting your account clears the personal details attached to it:
- Your name, display name, and profile picture
- Your contact details on your Vromp customer record
- Traveler profiles and the preferences on them — including any dietary or accessibility needs you entered
- Your link to your payment records with our payment processor
- The link between you and the stops you visited
What stays, and why
We keep some records after deletion. We’d rather tell you exactly what those are than describe this in a way that sounds more complete than it is.
- Your sign-in record. The account itself isn’t torn down, so the email address you signed in with still exists in our authentication system. It’s no longer connected to a usable profile, but it is still there.
- Trip and visit history, with your details stripped out. We keep the shape of trips — routes, stops, what worked — because it’s how we learn which trips are worth building. Your name and profile are removed from these records.
- Payment records. We’re required to keep transaction records for tax and accounting. Stripe, our payment processor, also keeps its own record of any payment independently of us.
- Trip-planning conversations, waiting-list entries, and feedback you sent us. These aren’t yet covered by the automatic deletion. We’re fixing that. In the meantime, see below — we’ll remove them by hand if you ask.
If you want everything erased
Email hi@vromp.app and say you want full erasure. We’ll remove what the automatic path doesn’t reach — including your trip-planning conversations, any waiting-list entry, and any feedback you sent us — and confirm when it’s done. We’ll keep only what the law requires us to keep.
Write from the email address on your account if you can. If you signed up with a different address at some point, or used Apple’s Hide My Email, mention that in your message so we know what to look for — some of these records aren’t linked to your account automatically, so we may need your help finding them.
