Refunds
Refunds and trip credit
Five situations, five straight answers. This page is the canonical version — if anything elsewhere on the site or in the app says something different, this is the one that’s current.

The five situations
What you get back depends on how far out you cancel, or whether something went wrong on our end. Here is every case we cover.
More than 72 hours before departure
Full refund. Cancel with more than 72 hours’ notice before your trip starts and we refund you in full, to the card you paid with.
Inside 72 hours of departure
75% trip credit. By this point your route has usually already been built, so a cash refund isn’t on the table — but three-quarters of what you paid becomes Vromp credit toward a future trip.
Mid-trip
Refund for the days you didn’t get, plus credit. If something goes wrong once you’re already on the road, we refund the unspent days of your trip in cash, and add credit worth half that amount toward a future trip, for the trouble.
After the trip, within 30 days
Full trip credit, no questions asked. Tell us within 30 days of getting home and the full amount you paid becomes Vromp credit toward your next trip — not a cash refund. This is available once in any 12 months.
If it’s on us
Full cash refund, regardless of timing. If the trip fell short because of something we did — a route we built wrong, a stop that wasn’t there, information that was simply incorrect — you get your money back in cash. There’s no time limit on this one and no once-a-year cap: if we blew it, we blew it.
How to ask for a refund or credit
Email hi@vromp.app and tell us what happened and when your trip started or was due to start. A person reads every message and we’ll tell you which of the situations above applies and what happens next.
This page describes what Vromp owes you. It doesn’t change anything about how you get to and from your own trip — see our Terms of Service for that.
